Meet The Team
Cody Battershill is a born-and-raised Calgarian who has been serving the community as a Realtor® since 2004. During his career he has received several achievement awards, earned many professional designations and served on multiple real estate boards, all the while consistently ranking high amongst his peers as a result of his motivation to provide excellent client service. Just recently, Cody received the Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee Medal in in recognition of his significant contributions to the province of Alberta.
Jordan Helwerda is a born-and-raised Calgarian who has been involved in the real estate industry for over a decade. With a background in raising capital, development, investment, negotiations and sales, Jordan feels like being a licensed realtor is his true calling – and is certainly his passion!
Kevin Haller is a Licensed Realtor® and a member of the Calgary Real Estate Board and the Calgary Residential Rental Association. Kevin Haller, a native of Trochu, Alberta, spent 13 years playing in the NHL. During his 13-season NHL career, Kevin played for the Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadians, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and the New York Islanders. He won the Stanley Cup with the Canadians in 1993.
Jeff Sexsmith is a proud native of Calgary. His experiences living and traveling outside the city have deepened his appreciation for Calgary and the unique lifestyle it offers its residents.
Ben Pinckney is a born-and-raised Calgarian who started his real estate journey in 2021 after reflecting on how he could make a difference in his personal and professional life, as well as his community. After purchasing his first home in 2020, the experience fueled his passion to help others achieve their real estate goals.
Makayla started her real estate career in an administrative and marketing role: preparing listings and contracts, managing the website and social media platforms, and organizing our marketing plan. After obtaining her Bachelor of Business Administration, Makayla set out to complete her Real Estate Licensing education through RECA.
Phil has over 40 years of client care and business administration experience across various industries and organizations in Calgary. Phil grew up in Calgary, obtained a business degree at the University of Calgary, and built career experiences in office technology, food manufacturing, telecommunications, and business process outsourcing. He worked with large national and international corporations, as well as smaller family-run transportation and entrepreneurial enterprises.

Buying our first house:
Our first home buying experience started with Cody close to 7 years ago . Cody knew what we needed in a home, more than what we knew needed ( mind you, we were super in to HGTV shows at the time thinking that we could fix up no problem ..LOL ) .
After a couple weeks, we put an offer on our first home and Cody was there to help us with every step which seems to be a complicated and tedious process for a first home buyer ! Cody answered all our questions and concerns in a timely manner. Our beautiful home was the best purchase we ever made and for that , my husband and I are super thankful for Cody .

After many family dinners, birthday parties and backyard BBQs my husband and I were craving less.
After 7 years of serious fun ,we decided to downsize or as Cody said "we were right- sizing ".
With the help of Jordan and Cody we were able to sell our house in less than a month . They were negotiate the price for the sale .
With Cody's and Jordans hard work we were able to put an offer on a beautiful Condo that we wanted and negotiated the right price for it !

His knowledge of what to look for and what to avoid in a townhome helped us immensely. We were nervous at the prospect of buying a townhouse with condo fees, but any doubts we had subsided when Cody showed us how to spot a poorly managed building versus a well managed one. He was very organized and had a stepwise approach to buying a house to make sure we didn't waste our time or money. He also made sure we got a signed approval from the condo board for our future puppy. He gave honest and direct opinions that helped us narrow in on potential properties and disregard others. He also has great recommendations for a home-inspector and a lawyer for reviewing condo documents. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the Calgary market, especially the inner city. He was easy to reach and communicate with via text anytime of the day and was able to set up multiple viewings on short notice.
Cody fought to get us the best deal on our home through a back-and-forth negotiation process that lasted a week. Thank you for everything Cody! We're incredibly happy in our new inner city home! We highly recommend him to our family and friends.
