Bonterra Trattoria an Amazing Calgary Restaurant
Bonterra is no stranger to past Calgaryism reviews as their patio is featured in our list of the Best Calgary Patio’s and today I am going to expand on the patio and the inside of the restaurant as we all know winter is around the corner.
A well known staple of the Calgary restaurant scene it seems you simply cannot have a bad meal or a bad experience at Bonterra. Located on the corner of 8 street and 10th Avenue SW in downtown Calgary Bonterra is central and has lots of free and easy parking.
If your looking to escape the city and head to the hills of Tuscany the Bonterra patio is as close as you can come in Calgary. The patio is a hot spot and fills up quick on good weather days so make sure you head down around 11:30 to get a table. I mean no one wants to sit inside when their is such a nice Tuscan inspired patio outside…
When the weather does turn and old man winter comes back to visit us head inside and grab a table. The ambiance, mood and decor is great and adds to the great experience. The servers are always professional and friendly, the olives and bread delicious and the wine list impressive. My favourite things to eat at Bonterra is always the Tuna (when they have it) and some of the pastas are unbelieveable. The bruschettta is also a huge hit.
