The Metropolitan , Calgary Style
The Metropolitan or “the met” for short is a well know Calgary restaurant and night spot with 2 locations, on Stephen Avenue and also on 17th Avenue in lower Mt Royal. (Uptown 17th)
Both are great depending on where you are in downtown. For lunch time the met on Stephen Avenue has a great vibe and during the afternoon and evening the met on 17th patio is a great place to chill, eat and drink.
Pretty much the only thing I ever order is the Salmon Salad which I think is amazing. My overall verdict? A great patio, good locations and a usually a good vibe with a bit more of a sophisticated crowd. Check it out!
