Bridgeland Calgary Community Profile: Amenities, Schools & More [p.3]

Bridgeland Calgary Community Profilenew bridgeland condo bridgeland crossings calgary alberta

Bridgeland is a northeast inner city community in Calgary found roughly east of Edmonton Trail, west of Deerfoot Trail, south of 7th Avenue NE and north of the Bow River.

As with most other Calgary inner city neighbourhoods, you will find many new infill properties and new condominium developments within the community.

The community was established over a century ago in 1914. The age of these residences and the need for redevelopment has given way to several new infill projects which have rejuvenated the neighbourhood into a family-friendly inner city living destination.

Surrounding the neighbourhood are three different north, east and west escarpments which separate it from its neighbouring communities of Crescent Heights and Renfrew. A few minutes south is the Bow River, Calgary Zoo, East Village, St. Patrick’s Island, Chinatown and the downtown business core.
