Evolution New Condos in East Village – Construction Begins

Good news everyone! The construction of Embassy Bosa’s new Evolution condos in Calgary’s East Village has officially begun on Thursday, September 13th of 2012.

Fuse is part one of three phases of Evolution condos to be built. The 21 storied, 220,000 square foot tower will be host to 203 new condos, 4 town home residences and is almost 50% sold!

Embassy Bosa is pleased with the success in sales at Evolution and have been working steadfastly through the permitting procedures to enable the beginning of the construction phase in fall of 2012. The developer also believes that with construction beginning, condo buyers will be much more willing to invest their money in property at Evolution condos.

The Future of Evolution Condos

Phase 1 – Fuse – 21 story high rise, 203 units, 4 town homes

Phase 2 – Pulse – 33 story high rise, 284 units, 12 town homes

In 2011, Embassy Bosa expressed their future vision of a finished Evolution development in Calgary’s East Village:

730,000 total square feet

More than 600 living units

Mixed-use development

Each phase of Evolution will eventually be connected by common buildings, where residents will share in-house amenities included in the development such as a fitness centre, steam room, hot tub, lounge and more.

East Village is Coming to Life

Improvements to the infrastructure of East Village such as the 4th Street underpass, St. Patrick’s Island, St. Patrick’s Bridge and River Walk amongst other amenity additions such as the National Music Centre are a few reasons why buyers are turning their attention towards EV’s new condo developments.

Buying a new condo in East Village is a way to live, work and play in downtown. Residents will be living in what will be one of the most walk able, urban communities there is in Calgary. In 2025, the community is expected to be home to around 11,000 residents!

Construction of Fuse is estimated to be finished in 2014, taking anywhere from 25 to 29 months.
