With more than 180 neighbourhoods in Calgary and growing, these areas are currently subdivided into eight districts, while every address in Calgary utilizes one of four quadrant directions, including NW, NE, SW, or SE.

Calgary City Centre Communities
Calgary’s City Centre district is the most sought-after area of Calgary, particularly by downtown professionals and youthful adults looking to live, work and play where all the action is. Home to International Avenue, it is also one of the most ethnically diverse areas and is home to a full spectrum of absolutely amazing restaurants, shops and services that people from all over Calgary love and visit daily. The East part of town is also known for its proximity to the industrial parts of the southeast and has convenient access to main city throughways via the Stoney Trail ring road and 17th Avenue South.
