    Signal Hill Real Estate Market

    Most Signal Hill real estate was built between the early 1990s and early 2000s. As a result, many homes feature the Mediterranean-style stucco exteriors popular in Calgary communities built in the 90s, but not all as others have more traditional designs.

    A few select homes for sale in Signal Hill, especially along the eastern ridge of the neighbourhood, have been fully renovated and remain high-end luxurious properties with breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline.

    Bungalow villas central to the neighbourhood also cater to seniors looking to downsize and reduce the number of stairs required to traverse in everyday living. These bungalows provide seniors with ample access to the nearby Westhills Towne Centre as well as outdoor recreation and parks.

    Sub-divisions of Signal Hill include Signature Parke and Sienna Hill to name a few. Home to nearly 1,600 homes and more than 4,000 residents, the community has been developed across nearly 300 acres of land and is host to a full spectrum of properties including single-family, attached and multi-family.

    Signal Hill Location & Amenities

    Residents in Signal Hill have direct access to Westhills Shopping Centre. Home to approximately 50 different restaurants, shops and services, there is not much of anything you won’t find at this massive outdoor strip mall.

    Westhills is not the only amenity resource easily accessible by Signal Hill residents. Also nearby are several strip malls and other key amenities found in various Westside communities, including:

    • West Market Square
    • West Springs Village
    • West C-Train LRT Stations
    • Westside Recreation Centre

    Westbrook Mall and Chinook Mall are two more shopping centres easily reached via Bow Trail, Sarcee Trail and Glenmore Trails from Signal Hill. These routes provide quick-and-easy access to other parts of Calgary while Stoney Trail, Township Road 241 and Old Banff Coach Road via 85th Street SW provide convenient access to the beautiful rolling foothills and graceful Rocky Mountains to the west.

    Westside Recreation Centre is the largest facility of its kind in the area. Home to a public swimming pool, outdoor basketball courts, indoor gymnasiums, hockey rinks and state-of-the-art fitness facilities, there isn’t much you won’t find at this family-friendly rec centre.

    Signal Hill residents have access to several different public and private schools spread throughout the Westside, another reason why many families choose to live in the community for the long term.
