Burger 320 Kensington Calgary Restaurant Review

I didn’t expect any less than primo burgers and fries from Burger 320’s second Calgary location in the Kensington BRZ - and that is exactly what I got on my latest trip down to this top-notch burger joint.kensington brz burger 320 10th street nw calgary

Sitting inside its much more spacious interior compared to its Bridgeland counterpart, I was waiting with much anticipation for my Gladys Ridge / parmesan fries combo and started stuffing my face as soon as my order was ready.

    Atmosphere and Service

As mentioned above Burger 320’s Kensington location has a much more spacious dining area inside where you’ll find the open kitchen, ordering / pick-up areas and a handful of long tables that seat up to six people.

Considering there isn`t any place to sit down and eat outside like at the Bridgeland location, the extra space inside helps accommodate the sometimes hefty line up (which there usually is at busy times) while the long tables are easily split between smaller parties if need be.

One thing I didn`t like about the inside of this location however was that there were no coat hangers. Oh well, I guess I’ll sacrifice sitting on my “beefy” winter jacket for half of the year to taste the delicious house made Italian inspired patties at Burger 320.

Service was exemplary just like at the Bridgeland location, but it seemed a bit slow and the kitchen understaffed as my food took a bit longer than expected to be served.

Our Orderskensington brz burger 320 calgary yyc gladys ridge

Gladys Ridge - $11.00 – house made burger, grilled portabella mushroom, arugula, truffle salsa, mozzarella and tomato candy on top of a French brie bun

A perfect blend of cheese, mushroom, aioli and meat, this is a must try for mushroom lovers or anyone in the mood for some portabella. Surprisingly the mushroom isn't as overbearing as you would think considering how many are packed onto this thing and the cheese acts kind of like a mesh that keeps all the ingredients on the bun and not on your lap.

Overall a very delightful, melt-in-your-mouth burger with sweet from the aioli, hearty arugula and a unique truffle taste in addition to the already savoury meat and mushroom flavour.

Parmesan Fries (small) - $5.00 – just like it sounds

One thing I love about Burger 320`s fries is how they slap a big scoop of white sauce – mayonnaise I think – right dead smack in the middle of the box, adding a ton of flavour to the already tasty parmesan fries. If parmesan isn`t your thing, Burger 320`s white potato fries are just as good.

Don’t miss the assortment of other sauces like vinegar, hot sauce and more found beside the cashier if ketchup isn’t your thing.

If you are a burger fanatic, die-hard foodie, are looking for a good meal or anything in between, then you will definitely want to check out Burger 320 in the Kensington BRZ.

There`s a good reason why this place and its Bridgeland counterpart made it onto our list of Best Calgary Burgers. Find out more today!Your Source Best in Calgary Alberta
