Calgary Activities and Events - The Calgary Zoo
The Calgary zoo is a great activity to try in Calgary. I said try but I should have said visit, this is one of those activities you can go back to a few times a year. It is always nice to see the animals and stimulate your imagination to think about the rest of the world and all the various ecosystems. Truly awesome for all ages from little kids, big kids to adults and entire families.
The Calgary Zoo is located east of downtown Calgary along Memorial drive. The Calgary zoo has something for everybody and is open from 9 to 5pm daily. Admission costs $21 for ages 16-59, $19 for seniors 60+ and $13 for kids from 3 to 5, infants under two are free. Sundays from 9:30 AM until 1 PM there is the Safari brunch for which the tickets include a zoo admission before noon.

Calgary zoo was also renowned for its annual events including the zoo Gala the Calgary zoo's welfare boo at the zoo and Halloween zeolites the zoo New Year's Eve New Year's Eve party and more throughout summer and spring walking through the prehistoric park at the Calgary zoo there are animated dinosaurs that move Enborg and many different types of dinosaurs to view a favorite of kids and a fun place to walk-through for the rest of us,
Who's who at the Zoo
Some of the many animals at the Zoo that you can look forward to seeing include: Penguins, Giraffes, Hippopotamuses, Lions, Pythons, different types of Snakes, Zebras, Flamingos Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Golden Eagles, River Otters, Owls, Sheep, Gray Wolf's, Caribou, Bald Eagles, Crocodiles, Gorillas, Elephants, different types of Monkeys and much much more!
The Calgary Zoo is a great Calgary activity for any age and for the whole family. I love the Sunday brunch, I love zoo lights and many of the other fun special activities. It's fun to just walk around and check out some cool animals and some cool exhibits. Don't miss the amazing gardens and butterfly Conservatory. Check it out!
