Calgary Theatre – Loose Moose Theatre Company

The Loose Moose Theatre Company is excited to bring improvisers of different ethnicities from all over the world to Calgary audiences starting in May continuing to and throughout September of 2012. Talent from Finland, Switzerland, Germany and Slovenia will be joined by members and performers from the local Calgary Loose Moose Theatre to put on a spectacular show filled with improvisational experimentation, comedy skits and other tests for some pure, fun-filled entertainment.

Loose Moose Theatre Company in Calgary have trained some top directors, comedians, writers and actors in the industry since the beginning in 1977, including parts of FUBAR, Kids in the Hall and This hour has 22 Minutes! Co-founder Keith Johnstone has created an exceptional international reputation for himself through the development of unique show formats as well as the use of narrative improvisational techniques in conjunction with international theatre sensibilities. These three techniques combine for an amazing theatre experience! Everyone in the theatre, from audience members to actors become a part of the theatre experience, trying new styles, ideas and forms of improvising. How exciting!

Loose Moose Improv Lab by Loose Moose Theatre Company is for you if you like to be a part of the action. Shows are held every Sunday starting on June 10th all the way to September at 8:00pm at the Loose Moose Theatre Company.
