MusicYYC is becoming the go to hub for finding all you need to know about Calgary music.

MusicYYC has a growing list of local artists each artist has a profile, complete with bio, a photo, social media links, organized by genre for an easy search. There is also a directory of venues, and music stores with all the information at your fingertips.

The idea is to make finding local music easier: artists can network with other local artists; venues can find and book newer acts; and bands that are booking tours can find venues and Calgary bands simply by visiting the website. It cuts through the noise, simplifying local music.

In addition to creating a concentrated hub, MusicYYC has created outlets for video coverage and event photography and show reviews to expose new artists and share the talent within our city. By enhancing the way we communicate about local music we help to support and drive the growth of our music community, and we encourage other parts of the world to be interested in our cultural exports.
