As 2013 comes to an end, it is time for us to celebrate our Calgary New Year’s Eve (NYE) 2013 and reflect on a year that had many ups and downs for our city, and surely for ourselves as well.

Noon Year’s Eve at TELUS Spark

• Address – TELUS Spark – 220 St. George’s Drive NE

• When – Tuesday, December 31st, 2013, 11:00am to 1:00pm

• Cost – Included with regular admission to the science centre, adult - $20, senior - $18, youth - $16, children - $13, children under 3 are free

TELUS Spark is hosting a great event for those early birds looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve a bit earlier than their night owl counterparts.

Countdown to the new years with your little ones just before midday, then hopefully you will have lots of time to do what you have planned for the night ahead.

Family Pool Party at Village Square Leisure Centre

• When – Tuesday, December 31st, 2013, 4:30pm to 6:30pm

• Cost - $24.25 per family

Find your way into the New Year by getting wet and wild at the Village Square Leisure Centre family pool party event. Highlights include family friendly live DJ music, wave pool, inflatable toys, prizes, arts and crafts, games, and much more.

The City of Calgary is hosting a fun and free family oriented NYE event this year at City Hall. Expect to see a full line up of entertainment including fire dancers, living statues, games, crafts, and much more.

Black lights are in effect so do your best to wear neon, white, or another colour that will shine in the night and make your NYE 2013 / 2014 a night to remember!

Zoo Year’s Eve at the Calgary Zoo

• Address – Calgary Zoo – 1300 Zoo Road NE

• When – Tuesday, December 31st, 2013, 6:00pm to 9:00pm

• Cost – 16 and older - $15, 3 to 15 - $11, Kids 2 and under are free

*Animal exhibits will not be open for this event

Ring in the New Year with a trip to the Calgary Zoo to see more than 1.5 million lights on display at the beautiful Zoo Lights. Afterwards, maybe stop by the fire pit and enjoy some hot chocolate, socialize with friends and family, then enjoy the fireworks at 8:00pm.

New Year’s Eve 2013 at The Palomino Steakhouse

The Palomino Steakhouse in downtown Calgary has long been known as one of the most unique music venues in town. On New Year’s Eve, they are throwing their own celebration with several live performers from a variety of genres. Some artists include Mallard, Eamon McGrath, Lorrie Matheson, Olde Ghosts, Bleachers, and Deadpan Alley

Boundary Ranch Sleigh Ride
