CUFF - Saturday morning cartoons!
As a fan of the Calgary Underground Film Festival every year, Saturday morning cartoons are by far my favorite. All you can eat sugary cereal from your childhood (if you were lucky) that ranged from Cocoa Pebbles (smuggled from the United States and my absolute favorite) to Captain Crunch and gluten free Rice Krispies!! I won't forget to mention they had all sorts of milk, so the lactose in tolerant had their choice of lactose free or soy, which definitely was great so everyone, no matter who could enjoy cereal with milk instead of dry.
The theatre was jam packed with Kids and Mostly adults (in their pj's and house coats); Saturday morning cartoons did nothing short of impress. The constant laughter and jokes was either the effect of the sugar highs or the reminiscing of how far technology and our minds have come.
A must see during CUFF, this is fun for all ages and a great way to start a Saturday with good friends.
