East Village’s YYC Food Truck Spring Frenzy this Friday!

First YYC Food Truck Event in 2014 this Friday at East Village! 

It seems that our winter chills are finally gone and spring is officially here. It only took about three or four surprise snowfalls that lasted a few days (at least)! I say what better way is there to celebrate the arrival of spring than by indulging in the best that our YYC Food Trucks have to offer?

Like us, many of our favourite YYC Food Trucks have been hibernating throughout winter. Now they are ready to do what they do best! Expect to see them in and around Calgary for various activities and events until the next deep cold hibernation period comes – that includes at the YYC Food Truck Spring Frenzy hosted by East Village this Friday.

Here’s what you need to know:

• When – Friday, April 25th, 2014, from 11:00am to 7:00pm

• Where – RiverWalk Plaza in East Village – 618 Confluence Way SE, Calgary, AB

• Who – So far East Village has confirmed a list of at least 10 YYC Food Trucks

• Cost – Prices can vary from just a few dollars to around $20 depending on what you want!

• Climate – According to the Weather Network, a low of 2 degrees and a high of 7 degrees (both in Celsius). Overcast.

Kick Start Your Weekend

With at least 10 food trucks to choose from, you’ll be able to have some of all your favourite foods from your favourite YYC Food Trucks! Afterwards, why not hop onto RiverWalk and head down towards the Calgary Zoo and Inglewood, or perhaps Eau Claire Market and Princes Island Park for some fun!?
