Evolution New Condos in East Village 4 Cool Facts

Fact 1 - Location is Great!

Evolution is located right on the Bow River in East Village. There are view lines to the city, to the river, and to the east along the river to St. Patrick's Island and the Zoo. The heights of all buildings in East Village are controlled. None are allowed to cast shadows on the river. Evolution has front row seats along the river, so purchasers buying views now can be sure that they will never be lost.

Fact 2 - The Master Plan

East Village is a master-planned community that has been designed to offer residents all the stores and services they could ever need, and to draw Calgarians from all over the city. Plans are in place for restaurants, bars, small and large retailers, a grocery store, at least one hotel, the new library, and the National Music Centre, which will be built around the old King Eddy.

The NMC will house the Cantos collection of musical instruments, a performance hall, recording studios, and educational facilities. There is talk of an East Village cinema complex as well. Fact 3 - Walk, Skip, Blade or Cycle

River Walk is the upgraded pathway system that runs from Centre Street Bridge to about 6 Street S.E.. Upgrading will continue this summer past Fort Calgary and over to Inglewood. The last section, from Inglewood to the Talisman Centre, will be built in 2013. From Fort Calgary, though, you will be able to turn north and cross a new foot bridge to St. Patrick's Island, which is getting a $45MM re-working to provide an atmosphere much like Prince's Island, but leaving a bit more nature. The foot bridge will continue all the way across the river to Memorial Drive and Bridgeland. Evolution will be front and centre with a prime location right on the river.

Fact 4 - Downtown Convenience

LRT access is about 2 blocks away, at City Hall, where there are new stations for trains in all directions. Everyone in Evolution who works downtown can leave the car at home. Imagine no traffic, no construction delays, no hassle in the mornings. It's time to live life and enjoy more of your day.
