Fiasco Gelato Supporting the Calgary Zoo

Fiasco Gelato greatly values the importance of supporting our fellow local businesses. When our team found out the massive damage costs that the Calgary Zoo was faced with after Alberta's recent flood, we knew that we had to do something to help.

So of course, the team at Fiasco looked at what we do best and worked closely in partnership with the Calgary Zoo to create something we thought the public would love.

New Flavours

Together, the Calgary Zoo and Fiasco Gelato are excited to introduce two new flavors created specifically to raise funds and help rebuild the Calgary Zoo! To go in line with the 2by2 Rebuild the Zoo theme, Fiasco Gelato is offering the 2 new flavors, with $2 from every purchase (pints or single scoops) to be donated directly to the Calgary Zoo.

1 - Bananimal Cracker Gelato is crushed animal crackers, mixed in a flurry of bananas, honey, and cinnamon.

2 - The second flavour is High Water Hippo, a wild BC blueberry with key lime sorbetto which is dairy-free and vegan friendly.

These zoo-licious flavors are available at all Calgary Co-op stores in a 2-mason jar pack. Gelato-lovers can also pick up their new flavors at the Fiasco Gelato Test Kitchen (A20 416 Meridian Road SE), or the Bridgeland Pop-Up Shop (inside the Bridgeland Market at 1104 1 Ave NE).

Since launching the 'Rebuild the Zoo' flavors, the team at Fiasco and the Calgary Zoo have been overwhelmed with the incredible response and support demonstrated by the public!

With so much excitement over these new flavors, the team at Fiasco is driven to work even harder to do what we do so together we can all do our part to help rebuild the Calgary Zoo!
