Get Excited for the First Annual Culinary Treasure Hunt in Calgary!!
Calgarians, get ready for the First Annual Culinary Treasure Hunt, being held on October 13th, 2012. This is an awesome opportunity for those in the food industry to show off their culinary treasures to the Calgary food community.
They need your help!
Event planners are looking for a total of 30 treasure hunt challenges by the end of September and are looking for your help to fill the list! Examples include
- Hot dog kissing
- Take a picture with the most expensive wine you can get your hands on
- Search for the largest truffle you can find in Calgary
If you have some awesome products in your store, a special menu item, or even an interesting artifact in your place of business, event planners would love to hear about it. They welcome every idea, so why not get creative and have some fun!
Sponsorship
Another thing they are looking for are businesses who would like to help sponsor the event. Any kind of sponsorship would help, such as a gift certificate, dinner for two, a bottle of wine or whatever it may be! Any businesses that choose to donate will be advertised through the Culinary Treasure Hunt website and through other promotional means.
Winners...
Whichever team wins this fun-filled activity wins the title of Culinary Cowboy or Cowgirl for 2012. Teams can register for only 20$ at www.culinarycalgary.ca. All proceeds are given to Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids.
