Be Part of the New Central Library Discussion this September!

The New Central Library (NCL) is a key piece of the amenity puzzle in East Village, a building that will serve to connect the city centre with an otherwise unfrequented part of the downtown area.

Now we all have an opportunity to get a first glimpse into the NCL’s facilities at the New Central Library: Out Loud event where we will also meet some of the most skilled library architects and peer enthusiasts around!

Project architects Rob Adamson of DIALOG and Craig Dykers of Snøhetta will guide us through the different rooms of the new NCL followed by a question and answer session after the presentation.

Here’s what you need to know to be a part of the discussion:

    • When: 4:00pm to 6:00pm, September 4th, 2014
    • Where: TELUS Convention Centre – 120 9th Avenue SE

Determined to make the event? Grab your free RSVP tickets online at Calgary Municipal Land Corporations (CMLC) website.

More on NCL and East VillageI love Calgary Alberta

Since 2007, East Village has slowly but surely been on the rise. From new pedestrian walkways to mid-rise condominiums, construction progress is now more apparent than ever before.

About 30 percent of developmental parcels remain in East Village. It will be exciting to see who buys them and what projects will also play their own role in the CMLC’s master plan.
