This is a different kind of live music but one that is very deserving of a mention, if you havent been I encourage you to go and check it out, they have a so many different types of shows and it may just surprise you with its awesome level of awesomeness! Try something new!

Studio 82

Looking for a little 1980's rock & roll? Then Studio 82 will satisfy you to the brim. Full of fun and lots of laughs you will rock out just like the ladies and Gents of the 80's!! Enjoy yourself and let loose! My recommendation would be Silly Rabbit or the Noize Boyz , two amazing times!

Bar, Club, DJ Atmosphere

For all you DJ and club types out there Calgary has an awesome night life scene until 2:00am. Places like Habitat, Commonwealth, Hifi, Flames Central and Bamboo have a constant stream of Calgary's best DJ's and musicians plus bookings with international starts every so often. On top of that we get HUGE Dj's like Armin Van Burren, Tiesto, Markus Schulz, Avici, Benny Benassi, Alesso, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg and so many more. Calgary has a constant stream of world class DJ's stopping by. Look for the biggest shows to be at the Big 4 building or at the Saddledome while Flames Central hosts the majority of the large DJ shows.

Commonwealth Bar & Stage

The coolest spot in Calgary right now and still fairly new on the scene is the beautifully designed Commonwealth, with three stories Commonwealth is the place to be! You will be able to tell how popular it is from the line-up out the door every night of the week!

A world class venue. Flames central is not only central on Stephen's ave in the heart of Downtown Calgary but it is HUGE and constantly hosting amazing artists! Flames Central plays host to most of the biggest Dj's that visit Calgary! Recently hosting Alesso, Shane and Myon 54 and many many more.

Love a good DJ? Then you will be pleased to know Bamboo is possibly one of the most fun dance floors! Always packed and attached to the Drum and Monkey you get the best of both worlds, the friends who want to hang out and have a drink and the ladies and gentlemen that want to get wild and dance!
