The Nash Calgary Restaurant Review
Impeccable, succulent and all-inclusive are three words that immediately come to my mind when thinking about my first experience at The Nash.
One thing I might have left out was the cost to eat a fully-fledged meal here, although I would argue that the quality of the experience all together is worth every penny.

Atmosphere & Service
Walking inside you’ll notice a wide open contemporary seating area with soft blue, white and black accents and beautiful wooden tables.
The open-concept I really appreciated when sitting down and realizing just how much space there was.
On the other side of the entrance you’ll notice a door that leads to The Nash’s “off cut” bar. Inside you’ll find a classy old-fashioned interior done up to the nines with dark wood trim, plaid chair booths and lots of room to boot.
If you’re looking to just hang out and chill over some drinks (and maybe food), then you should definitely check out this neat little space.
As far as service goes, our server did a great job of romanticizing every menu item we asked about to a point where it was as if we could almost taste it.
While the chicken and fish entrees sounded tantalizing, it was the steak that won judgement from our taste buds.
Our Orders
Steak main – 10 oz. ‘AAA’ steak done the way you want it. Sirloins without nearly any gristle at all and that are tender throughout are few and far between. Topped with a tasty house made sauce, this steak was absolutely worth the cost and once again I would recommend any current steak dishes offered by The Nash to you.
Side of mushrooms – a variety of skinny to medium sized mushrooms covered in a gravy sauce that you just can’t get enough of. I highly recommend this to mushroom lovers and those who like their steaks with some on top.
Side of carrots – carrots cooked to perfection and smothered with a tasty buttery sauce, another recommended delight to go with your main of choice.
The Menu
One cool thing about The Nash is that they rotate their menu selection every two to three months or so, possibly making your next visit a completely unique one with never-seen-before entrees and appetizers to boot.
The Nash is a great place for a romantic date, a large birthday party and everything in between. When it comes to the cost, however, you can end up with a hefty bill but I found that on this special occasion for two it was more than worth the cost.
