Top 5 Food and Drink in McKenzie Towne SE Calgary
McKenzie Towne is a large residential community in the SE quadrant of Calgary.
Such a large neighbourhood is lucky to have two areas for food and drink; one being the 130th Avenue Shopping Centre on its north end and the other on high street located centrally.
130th Avenue is a convenient stop for those travelling south of Calgary, while high street is more for residents of McKenzie Towne. Both areas have some awesome food and drink establishments, some better than others.

The Keg – 403.726.1022 – The Keg is always a good choice because no matter which one you go to, you get the same quality food every time. Head to The Keg for a delicious steak and vegetables with their signature potatoes. I recommend the filet mignon with asparagus and roasted garlic potato.
Mucho Burrito – 403.453.1933 – Mucho Burrito is scrumptious Mexican food that’s quick and cheap! Always a good choice if you’re in a hurry and don’t mind Mexican. I usually order the large chicken or beef burrito, loaded to the max with all the toppings!

If you love Japanese food then Ichizen is the right place for you! My favorite is the miso soup, assorted tempura plate and the rainbow roll! Try them out!
Muldoons Irish Ale House – 403.262.5505 – There’s no better place to grab some good pub eats and a drink while watching your favorite team. Muldoons has your typical pub atmosphere and typical pub food. I always get the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich or bison’s Sheppard pie. They are to die for!
Original Joe’s – 403.726.9041 – Another good spot for watching the game with a refreshing beer. Original Joe’s has more wing flavours then your typical restaurant and are worth it!
