25 tips to a healthy lifeI thought I would go in a totally different direction for once and decided to write a 4 part blog series on how to stay healthy. Physically, emotionally and mentally happy. Life is good and we have so much opportunity, we have to take time to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the little things. With our busy and constantly connected lives sometimes we need to just chill. Seriously just chill and do something random and relaxing and for ourselves. Your health is truly the most important thing to us yet we treat it like an intangible that is out of our control. Well it is not! You only live once. #LG

1. Drink lots of water

2. Drive defensively

3. Go hiking

4. Look in all directions before crossing the street

5. Try to relax!

6. Get your cholesterol levels checked regularly

7. Keep emergency supplies handy in your house or car

8. Try to avoid being stressed out

9. Take your pet dog for a walk

10. Go swimming

11. Play Frisbee with your dog

12. Play with a friends dog

13. Create a dark, quiet sleep environment that is cool and comfortable

14. Maintain regular sleeping patterns

15. Skip a skipping rope

16. Nap every once in a while

17. Check your blood pressure every now and then

18. Make sure to sleep on a comfortable mattress and have equally as comfortable pillows

19. Don’t worry about things

20. Go see the doctor every 6 months for a medical check-up

21. When a doctor gives you advice, get a second opinion. Doctors can be wrong too!

22. Avoid taking anti-biotic drugs if possible; it is recently proven they kill more good cells than you know with crazy adverse side-effects!

23. Exercise regularly for a minimum time of 3 hours a week

24. Activities that increase your cardio capacity are always good

25. Don’t speed while driving your vehicle
