Revitalized, reborn, refreshed... the construction of the new and improved downtown Calgary community of East Village is well underway with new projects and announcements every month!

In 2008 the Calgary Municipal Lands Corporation (CMLC) began redeveloping the infrastructure of East Village with the intent of making a brand spanking new urban mixed use community.

4 years later we are beginning to see the fruits of their hard work as more projects have completed construction, while others are just beginning such as Evolution Condos, one of the residential developments in the area.

All the Hype...

All the hype for the new downtown community is for a good reason! 

Outlined in the master plan for East Village is a new National Music Centre, two condo residential developments, a new Hilton Hotel plus many other projects that not only will make East Village an enjoyable place to be, but will improve parts of the surrounding areas as well!

An extended and renovated RiverWalk, a new bridge connecting St. Patrick’s Island and East Village, and the preservation and restoration of character adding historical buildings are only a few of the projects happening down at Calgary’s East Village!
