Bluefin Sushi Calgary Restaurant Review
There aren't many all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in Calgary that are as good as Bluefin when it comes to quality and taste.
Heck, this place even has other cuisines like Chinese, thai and even an assortment of western cuisines to choose from just in case you for some reason you arrive and feel like something else other than raw fish.

Atmosphere & Service
Inside of Bluefin you'll notice a recently renovated interior with contemporary black finishings, an open-kitchen and Japanese style decor.
We were sat in a booth which was quite spacious and comfortable, only to find this cool little Ipad sitting in front of us with all the different types of food just waiting for us to order with the touch of your finger. It's quite an ingenious system , really, and is very easy to use for anyone who owns a smartphone or other touchscreen device.
Each food category is easily reached by swiping the screen. Also, every item is accompanied with a picture just so you know exactly what it is your ordering and possibly finding something new to try while your at it.
As far as service goes, every waiter and waitress who brought out food for us also responded to drink and condiment requests without any problems - all with a smile!
Our Orders
Assorted sashimi - we tried the white tuna, salmon, snapper, crab
While this wasn't the most succulent sashimi I have ever tasted, it was still pretty decent considering it is all you can eat. I am used to eating much bigger slices for a fuller taste; I felt like these small and thin pieces were just a bit of a tease for me.
Assorted sushi rolls - we tried the Hawaii, King and California rolls
I highly recommend the Hawaii to anyone who likes a mix of avocado, crab and that mayonnaise-like dribble sauce that they put on all types of sushi. The great thing about this place is that if you do end up ordering a roll and don't like it, you can always just order another one!
Assorted Tempura - sweet potato, mushroom, zucchini
One thing you should get if you head to Bluefin is an order (or two) of all the tempura types. They are just as good at making tempura as any other sushi restaurant in the city.
Overall, for only $27.00 per person Bluefin is a safe bet if you are hungry and looking to indulge in as much sushi as you can. Check this place out!!!
