    Calgary Festivals July 2013

Calgary Festivals Concerts StampedeStampede may be over but there are still plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy for the rest of the summer!

Our festivals are as diverse as our city and offer a little bit of something for everyone from celebrating cultures, food, music and arts.

Since we only have a short amount of time to enjoy the sunshine and long days, check out the following Calgary festivals happening in July, you don’t want to miss them!

    • July 21 – 22 - 2013
    • Calgary Olympic Plaza (downtown)

Enjoy an explosion of music, cuisine and arts at Fiestaval celebrating the Latin American culture. There will be a variety of events to highlight the culture including performances, dance lessons and concerts.

Or if you’re hungry, sample on delicious traditional cuisine from different Latin American nations. Mmmhm! Admission to the festival is free of charge.

    Sun and Salsa Festival

    • July 21 - 2013
    • Neighbourhood of Kensington

Close to 100,000 Calgarians will descend to Kensington to check out the street vendors and performances. Of course, they are also there for the main attraction – salsa.

Bring a bag of chips to sample and judge salsas from different local restaurants. This festival raises funds for the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association and Norfolk Housing.
