4 Reasons to Love the Calgary Folk Music Festival
1 – On for more than one day
Isn’t it awesome to know that if you’re preoccupied on one or two days of the festival and can’t make it down to Princes Island Park that you won’t miss it completely? I’d say so.
2 – Unique blend of genres and musicians
If you’re looking for something you’ve never seen before, then this is where you want to be. Who knows, maybe you’ll even pick up a new favourite sound that somehow sends double the amount of endorphins across your brains synapses when you listen to it?!
3 – THE best location
I can’t think of anywhere better in Calgary to have the Folk Music Festival than on the pristine setting of Princes Island Park. Not only can you enjoy the festival and the park, but you can also take full advantage of what’s close by, some of these places were mentioned above.
4 – Local Musical Talent
I’ve always been a huge supporter of Calgary through my Facebook page Calgaryism and absolutely love throwing my hands up for our local musical talent, as well as those coming from around our nation and the globe!
