Interior Design at Evolution Condos in East Village

Embassy Bosa’s new Evolution condos are an exciting addition to the Calgary East Village urban community. Upon completion Evolution will host multiple types of condo floor plans to serve the largest spectrum of potential condo buyers. Embassy Bosa wants to give only the best to their customers; therefore they have hired a world-renowned architectural company, James KM Cheng Architects, to do the job, and they WILL do it well.

The Architect

James Cheng is considered to be Vancouver’s top architect for contemporary design, with an exceedingly impressive portfolio of approximately 37 condo towers in Vancouver B.C., and a lone development in Toronto. James Cheng was educated at Harvard and the University of Washington. Afterwards he created his own architectural firm in 1978 after being awarded with the job to design Vancouver’s Chinese Cultural Centre.

Having James KM Cheng Architects as a part of the design team for Evolution in East Village is an exciting situation to say the least. I personally expect Evolution to stand out from the rest with its Vancouverism style architecture characterized by narrow, mixed use developments with a commercial base and residential tower on top, not only providing more residences for more people, but also conserving the views for living units.

Some Interior Specs at Evolution Are:

General – Glass wall’s from bottom to top fill spacious, open-concept living areas with natural light, offering immaculate views at the same time. Customers have two different choices for interiors between Gray and Brown, where gray features full length tile back splash in kitchen and quartz vanity top for main washroom and granite for the ensuite. Brown features granite in ensuite, main bathroom and kitchen. A closet with a full sized washer and dryer stack-set is also included, yes!

Kitchen – White glossy upper cabinetry with lower wood grain veneer cabinetry, creating a sleek contrast, matching the rest of the suite template well. Beautiful stainless steel appliances, including a Grohe plumbing set and refrigerator with a bottom freezer and French doors. A very functional kitchen with modern styling that sacrifices no functionality what so ever.

Bathroom – Evolution has heated bathroom floors, with a deep bath tub, wood grain cabinetry with fashionable hardware sets and backsplashes. Glass showers match nicely with the contemporary Duravit lavatory toilets and sinks. Abundant storage included.

Bedroom – Bedrooms have glass walls from top to bottom for beautiful morning and evening views of Calgary. Flat panelled doors for closets with fashionable hardware sets. Luxury Beaulieu carpets in the bedroom make sure for ultimate comfort. Pre-wired electrical helps with the customization of your personal sleeping quarters with your choice of light fixtures and electronics.

Evolution condos exterior design will be glass, brick and concrete with “DNA” design, adding to Evolution’s total appeal. Embassy Bosa Inc. has set the bar high for all of their projects, as does James KM Cheng Architects and all other companies involved in the project.
