The other day, I heard the whimsical music playing from the ice cream truck at the Salsa Festival in Kensington. That moment took me back to my childhood when I spent my weekly allowance to buy a chocolate ice cream cone.

The iconic location in Marda Loop continues to attract old and new customers with its grand piano and endless selection of flavours. Where else can you find classics like Genuine Vanilla and Ontario Maple Walnut to outrageous flavours called Bat Black Licorice and Wet Paint?
Their newest Aspen Woods location will surely attract the same attention with their salivating frozen treats.

As more people are becoming more health-conscience, it is no surprise self-serve frozen yogurt (or FroYo) chains are popping up in our city. I am a frequent visitor to the 17th Avenue SW location and the line-up resembles a crowd waiting outside of a popular night club.
