YYC Taste The Trucks 2013 Is Here This Weekend!

If you love Calgary’s food trucks like I do, you will be pleased to hear that YYC Taste The Trucks III is just around the corner!!

Heck, even if you haven’t heard of or seen a food truck before in your life, this is going to be an event you won’t want to miss - especially if your a foodie and can't get enough of delicious eats.

YYC Taste The Trucks 2013 is the second anniversary celebration of food trucks in our city. Working in conjunction to make it all happen is East Village, 98.5 Virgin Radio, CJAY 92, Car2Go and 15 of Calgary’s favourite gourmet food trucks, of which will be showcasing their cuisines at the event.

Admission to this year’s event will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

When Is It?

YYC Taste the Trucks 2013 will be held on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Where Is It?

Is there any better place to host this awesome event than at RiverWalk along the Bow River in East Village? I don’t think so!

Event set up will be directly in front of the Simmons Building and just across the street from the East Village Sales Centre.

What To Do?

Local food trucks have added vibrancy and tasty cuisines to the streets of Calgary. They make it easy to get a quick snack to go in the middle of a hectic work day and are the perfect substitute for a traditional sit-down restaurant or fast food.

Besides choosing from 15 gourmet food trucks and their cuisines, YYC Taste The Trucks 2013 will include live music, artisan shops and free give-a-ways!
